The terms of using NPI Scout.
Short version: use the data for legitimate business outreach, and do not resell it.
The service
NPI Scout provides business information about healthcare practices and providers, compiled from multiple authoritative public sources, along with software for filtering and exporting that information.
Acceptable use
Subscriptions are licensed to your organization for its own sales and business development. You may not resell, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the data, and you may not use it for any purpose prohibited by law, including unlawful telemarketing or messaging practices. You are responsible for complying with the rules that apply to your outreach.
Accuracy
The underlying records are public filings maintained by third parties. We refresh and review them, but we cannot guarantee that every record is complete or current, and the information is provided without warranty.
Subscription and billing
Plans are month to month with no long-term contract and no setup fee. Fees are billed in advance for each period and are not refundable for a period already started. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, NPI Scout is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
