What is NPI Scout?
NPI Scout is a B2B healthcare sales intelligence platform that identifies fresh sales opportunities among healthcare providers and practices. Each day it surfaces practices and providers that recently opened, moved, expanded, or changed, with the market signal behind each record.
Is this protected health information?
No. NPI Scout contains only public business information about practices and providers: practice names, business addresses, business phone numbers, specialties, and registration changes. There is no patient data of any kind.
How current is the feed?
The NPI Scout opportunity feed is refreshed daily. You can review just today, or look back across the past 30 days to catch anything your team missed.
What is actually in a record?
Signal date, practice or provider name, the trigger event that surfaced it, specialty, provider type, and location. With full access, records also include available phone, fax, and email information, exact addresses when present, and exportable details.
Can I limit it to my territory?
Yes. Filter by state, county, specialty, and provider type. Reps only see the market they are responsible for.
Can I get the data into my CRM?
Yes. Full access lets you export any filtered view as a file and load it into your CRM, dialer, or sequencing tool.
Is NPI Scout free to use?
Yes. Free Explorer is completely free and lets you create an account and explore real market signals, including provider and practice names, without entering a credit card. You can search, filter, sort, and paginate signals, view aggregate market counts and breakdowns, use maps and trend views, and configure one free daily market summary. Team Access adds available contact information, exact practice locations, NPI details, CSV exports, Saved Leads, and full alerts.
How much does Team Access cost?

Do I need a credit card for Free Explorer?
No. Free Explorer is completely free and never requires a credit card. A payment method is required only when you choose to move to paid access.
